Frontera provides a scoring report for each patient’s test results that are delivered soon after the test. Test results are scored using a proprietary software system developed by the Medical Reviewer.
The purpose of the scoring report is to provide a summarized expert review of the test results. This report will assist the physician in making an informed clinical decision.
Frontera offers additional tools and resources to assist the physician in learning how to interpret test results. Frontera’s Medical Directors are available for physician consultation on an as-needed basis.
The Following steps summarize the Scoring Process:
1. A certified technician conducts the test. He or she adds comments to the test results that describe significant health risk factors, the reason for test termination and current symptomology, if any. The ECG and raw data reports are added to the patient’s file after the test if applicable.
2.The test results are forwarded to the Scoring service for scoring and additional review by clinical specialist and a physician using accepted standards for this type of testing.
3. The Scoring service processes the test data through software that is specifically designed to compare the results with published norms and decisions algorithms of expert physicians such as Karl Wasserman, MD, Norman Jones, MD and Idelle Weisman, MD.
4. Findings that fall outside normal limits are summarized in the Scoring Report by the physician reviewer.
5. The Scoring report is sent to the appropriate physician within 72 hours.
