Exercise Physiologist :
Frontera Strategies, LP is a service organization that provides primary care physicians with in-office cardiopulmonary metabolic exercise stress testing (CMET) and full pulmonary function testing services on an as-needed basis. CMET is a non-invasive series of tests that provides comprehensive data as compared to the traditional model of treadmill stress testing. CMET tests are ordered when it cannot be determined if the symptoms were caused by a cardiovascular, pulmonary or musculoskeletal system limitation. Physicians order the test to clearly identify the source and diagnosis.

Job Description:
Candidate will be responsible for performing cardiopulmonary metabolic exercise testing at various primary care physician offices. A typical candidate will work with a minimum of five different physician offices every week. They will be responsible for transporting, setting up, and maintaining all equipment and supplies. They will become an integral part of the physician’s team by providing important diagnostic information that is critical to patient care. They will work with state-of-the-art equipment and have a strong clinical supporting cast. We offer training and a great environment to learn and grow as a professional.
Positions are available in the following major cities in Texas: Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.
Requirements:
To perform this job, an individual must meet the following requirements to be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field from an accredited university or college (Master’s preferred).
- Current ACLS Certification.
- Demonstration of past clinical stress testing and pulmonary function testing experience within a healthcare provider or university setting under physician supervision.
- Knowledge of oxygen consumption (VO2) as a cardiac/circulatory measure.
- Ability to read and interpret 12-lead ECGs.
- Knowledge of the benefits of gas exchange and Anaerobic Threshold (AT).
- Knowledge of appropriate indications for exercise testing.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- A valid Texas driver’s license to operate a vehicle for transportation of equipment.
- Demonstration of computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel, Access & Power Point, etc.) and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

Candidate will be responsible for performing resting echoes, stress echoes, carotid, venous, and arterial scans at various primary care physician offices. A typical candidate will work with a minimum of five different physician offices every week. They will be responsible for transporting, setting up, and maintaining all equipment and supplies. They will become an integral part of the physician’s team by providing important diagnostic information that is critical to patient care. They will work with state-of-the-art equipment and have a strong clinical supporting cast. We offer a great environment to learn and grow as a professional.

Requirements:

- Current ARDMS and/or CCI (in cardiac and vascular) certification.
- Current ACLS or BLS certification.
- Demonstration of recent sonography experience in the clinical setting
- Knowledge of appropriate indications for various types of scans.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- A valid Texas driver’s license.
- Reliable mode of transportation.
- Demonstration of computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel, Access & Power Point, etc.) and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in the mobile setting is preferred but not required.

Territory Manager
Job Description:
The Territory Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing our diagnostic testing services. The territory is an existing one with a team currently performing services for a large number of clients. The Territory Manager will join counterparts in Ft. Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Duties include:
- Prospecting for new clients in the target markets include primary care, internal medicine and other sub-specialists.
- Making professional presentations about Frontera's services to physicians and key decision makers.
- Closing new business.
- Servicing existing accounts and maintaining/increasing their utilization.
- Educating physicians about the benefits of our services.
- Creating innovative marketing programs and/or events that will assist in solidifying relationships with practices and physicians.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years in outside healthcare sales experience is required.
- A minimum of 3 years selling a service and or medical product. Solution selling is a must.
- A four year degree is required.
- Direct experience in selling to physicians.
- A sense of humor, a fierce independent streak and a competitive nature preferred.
